Framebrief / FIELD NOTES

Privacy, in plain language.

What happens to the information you use with these tools.

Browser-only tools

Template creation and subtitle utilities process text in your browser. The application does not upload that input. Remember this input is off by default. If enabled, it stores the form fields in local storage on this device; disable it or choose Clear input to remove the saved draft.

Cloud processing

When you request AI text, speech, or transcription, the necessary input is sent to this site’s Cloudflare endpoint and Workers AI. This application does not intentionally retain submitted text or audio. Cloudflare processes requests under its own service and data policies; no promise of zero provider retention is made. Avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information.

Infrastructure and allowance records

Cloudflare receives ordinary connection data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. The app’s daily allowance ledger stores a day-specific keyed hash derived from the connecting IP, the site name, cost units, and a timestamp. It does not store the raw IP or submitted content. Entries older than three days are removed during subsequent cloud requests.

Advertising and analytics

This initial release does not load third-party advertising or analytics scripts. Advertising may be introduced later with an updated policy and appropriate consent controls. No advertising consent is inferred from using a tool.

Your control

You can clear locally saved drafts at any time. Use the contact page to find the project’s issue tracker. Do not include private text, audio, or personal identifiers in a public report.
